Hi. I'm Katie. 

I have a long-standing, well-documented disdain for most food blogs/bloggers. 

Part of the reason I rewrite recipes here: 

1) to put them in one place where I can find them, 

2) modify them as I cook them, not as they're written, and 

3) to boil down the recipe steps into easy to follow numbered steps. With recipes written in paragraph form, I almost always add ingredients at the wrong step or forget things. Numbered steps are better for my brain.

No pop ups, chyrons, or anything else cluttering up the screen.
