Instant Pot Polenta

 Instant Pot Polenta

1 cup polenta

4 cups water

1 tsp Kosher salt

A couple grinds of pepper

3 TBSP butter

4 oz finely grated parmesan cheese


  1. Combine polenta, water, salt, and pepper in instant pot
  2. Use Sauté function until it boils
  3. Press Cancel, put on lid and move valve to sealing
  4. Set Manual for 9 minutes
  5. When it beeps, press Cancel and quick release the steam
  6. Whisk in butter until melted
  7. Whisk in parmesan until melted
  8. Serve hot, it solidifies once it cools

Notes:
I use Diamond Kosher salt, if you use Mortons - only use half as much as it is much saltier than Diamond. See Kosher Salt Tip post
