Instant Pot Polenta
1 cup polenta
4 cups water
1 tsp Kosher salt
A couple grinds of pepper
3 TBSP butter
4 oz finely grated parmesan cheese
- Combine polenta, water, salt, and pepper in instant pot
- Use Sauté function until it boils
- Press Cancel, put on lid and move valve to sealing
- Set Manual for 9 minutes
- When it beeps, press Cancel and quick release the steam
- Whisk in butter until melted
- Whisk in parmesan until melted
- Serve hot, it solidifies once it cools
Notes:
I use Diamond Kosher salt, if you use Mortons - only use half as much as it is much saltier than Diamond. See Kosher Salt Tip post.
